As Council Speaker, you chair the General Council (FuM) meetings. You are not afraid to raise your voice and you like order. You know MF's statues by heart to ensure that they are followed during the meetings.

As FUM-secretary, you are responsible for recording the minutes of the council meetings. You are a good listener and you write quickly on a computer. Previous secretarial assignments are considered meritorious.

As President, you lead the association together with the Vice President, and are responsible for the overall education monitoring in the association. You should have experience of educational issues, student representation and preferably leadership. Previous experience of education policy and board work is considered meritious. This assignment is remunerated and as chairman you take a study break to work full time with the association.

As Vice President, you lead the business together with the President. You have the main responsibility for the association's finances and handle the daily administrative work with payments, accounting and membership in Studentlund. As a Vice, you are structured, service-minded and flexible. You have knowledge of MF's various committees and previous experience of budget work and leadership is seen as meritorious. The post is remunerated and you take a study break to work full time with the association.

As vice president you are also automatically nominated or delegated the following positions: economically responsible in CM, Akademiska Föreningens överstyrelse, Studentlunds stormöte and Terminsräkningsföreningens (TRF) styrelse.

As Head of Events, you are primarily responsible for MF's contact with partners, sponsors, the business community and working life in general. As Event Manager, you are also a member of the committees for major events such as Corbalen and Dies Toddyum Magna to be responsible for sponsorship issues and be an extra support for the Vice President. As a person, you should be good at communication, problem solving and working under pressure.

You are also responsible, together with the President, for evaluating and investigating how our members are feeling, and taking care of various student matters. As Head of Communication, you have the main responsibility for MF's communication, external marketing and towards the association's members. As Head of Communication you manage the association's website and social media, send out newsletters to the association's members and help the board and committees to produce PR material such as posters. The Committee chairmen are responsible for leading and organizing their committee's activities. The Medical Association has over 20 different committees that cover both the association's educational monitoring part and the social activities.

As a Sexmästare, you are responsible for organizing all parties, big and small, arranged by Medicinska Föreningen. You should have good organizational skills, great patience and be stress-resilient. A demanding but rewarding post! To be able to apply for this position, you must be at least 20 years old.

As Pub Master, you are responsible for the pub nights at Locus Medicus Lundensis. You have a high level of personal integrity and are sufficiently fearless and responsible to be able to maintain calm even in alcohol-related situations. You will work very closely with the Sexmästare in the preparations for and during all MF’s parties. To be able to apply for this position, you must be at least 20 years old.


+ Master of Ceremony Medicine (1)

As Master of Ceremony medicine, you will be responsible for organizing graduation ceremonies for our members upon their graduation. There is a need for one Ceremony Marshal for the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology programs, one for Biomedicine, one for the Physiotherapy program, and one for the Medical program. The work is primarily concentrated in the weeks leading up to the end of the semesters (Medicine and Physiotherapy in both the fall and spring semesters, others only in the spring semester).

You are well-organized, capable of managing and coordinating events, and efficient in getting things done. Additionally, you naturally have a sentimental side and appreciate grand traditions and teary-eyed parents.

As Sports Foreman, you are responsible for leading Medicinska Föreningen’s sports activities and keeping our members moving. This means that you as Sports Foreman must lead a number of activities a week and be responsible for hall bookings. The activities generally take place during the weekday evenings. You should be a good leader and have good collaboration skills as well as a great interest in sports and movement.

As Pea Master, you are responsible for serving pea soup every Thursday at Locus Medicus Lundensis. You have good collaboration skills as well as a certain cooking knowledge. Passion for peas is a requirement.

As a Brunch Master, you are responsible for serving brunch at Locus Medicus Lundensis every other week. You have good collaboration skills as well as a certain cooking knowledge. The post for you as a sourdough hipster or cupcake fan!


+ KULU-chairman (2)
Business Year 25/26

As KULU-chairman, you are responsible for arranging cultural events for MF's members. A post with great freedom. The activities can be anything from chocolate tastings to sewing classes, military training, dance training, the croquet club, opera visits, etc.

Business Year 25/26: 1 LogAud, 1 Biomed and 1 Independent Calender Year 2025: Medicine

Novice Generals are six students appointed by Medicinska Föreningen to be responsible for the novice period. As a Novice General, you are responsible for planning and executing the entire novice period. This entails intensive work for three weeks during the novice periods, as well as in the weeks leading up to the novice period. As a Novice General you work great under pressure, you have good collaboration skills and (most importantly) you are a good leader.


+ Corpus Laborans Chairman (2)

As Chairman of Corpus Laborans, you are, together with the rest of the committee, responsible for the organization and execution of the labor market day Corpus Labornas. You have a good overview of the labor market for the various programs within MF, but above all you have many ideas about how a labor market day should be implemented and a drive to realize these. Furthermore, you possess good collaboration skills and are creative and solution-oriented.

Sonden is Medicinska Föreningens online student newspaper. As an editor, you lead Sonden's editorial staff in the work of making a good magazine regarding articles, layout and advertisements. Experience in writing, layout and / or design is needed, and above all a pathological love for the written word and outreach journalism.

As IT-manager you are responsible for all things computer oriented. This includes mailing lists, website management and a whole load of computer care. You have a good hand with computers and like working with them. Some knowledge of programming is an advantage!


+ Corphotographer (2)

As a Corphotographer, you monitor all MF's events and document them in pictures. You have a great deal of personal integrity and self-control, which means that you can be sober and take photographs, even in festive contexts.


+ MIFFOS (2)

As a MIFFO, you responsible for providing food and fun games at all event organized for MF’s active members (foremen)! What is required? Gastronomic abilities, a never ending happy mood, an ability to convey a timeless MF spirit and tell classic stories, pass on traditions and share gossip within the association. For the latter characteristics, you preferably have a longer involvement within the Medical Association behind you.

As a House Foreman for Locus Medicus Malmoensis you are responsible for all bookings regarding Malmö Locus. As a house foreman, you possess good communication skills and you are able to be in Malmö on a regular basis. The post is a heavy administrative post, so a fondness of administration and finance is a must.

As an Archivist, you are responsible for gathering, storing and organizing all that can be of historical value to our association. You preserve knowledge about our organization and make sure that nothing is forgotten.

The Senior College consists of previously active and former full-time employees within the association. The Collegiate is headed by the Inspector. The purpose is to assist with knowledge and memories from ancient days. You should have been properly engaged in the association but may have stepped down a bit now.

Joint Corpus Medicum Posts

Joint posts for all sections within Corpus Medicum. MF's council nominates for the position, which is then elected by Corpus Medicum's board during their meeting.

Faculty of Medicine

+ ETP-committee (1)
Business Year 25/26

The ETP Committee consists of the Vice Dean for Education (chair), three faculty representatives, and two student representatives—one appointed by MF and one by VÅVS. The committee has overarching responsibility for the ETP process, appoints faculty representatives and an external educational expert to the assessment group, and prepares matters for the Dean to decide on. The committee meets approximately 1–2 times per semester, with each meeting lasting about 2 hours.


+ ETP Assessment Group (1)

The Assessment Group consists of teachers who already hold ETP status and have undergone specific training in assessment, as well as two student representatives—one from MF and one from VÅVS. These students must also have completed the training. The group also includes an external educational expert. The group interviews and evaluates applicants for ETP. It meets 1–2 times per semester, with additional time required to review application materials.

These meetings bring together program directors for Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology, and Physiotherapy, along with faculty and student representatives. As a student representative, you're expected to review the meeting agenda in advance. Topics can include individual cases involving exemptions, study breaks, withdrawals, or credit transfers. Since sensitive information is discussed, all meetings are confidential. The committee meets 3–4 times per semester, about 1 hour per meeting. The position is paid.


Akademiska Föreningen

The Governing Board is the highest decision-making body of the Academic Society and makes decisions on, among other things, the framework budget, financial statements, membership fees, and elections for positions of trust within the Academic Society. The board consists of representatives from AF’s main stakeholders: the nations and student unions within the Studentlund collaboration, as well as two representatives from AF’s special members. The board meets approximately once a month. Coordination and reporting back to the MF Presidium takes place in connection with each meeting. The position is not paid.

As a student representative, you represent students in matters vis-à-vis the faculty and universities. Therefore, it is, therefore, important that you can represent the students’ best interests and want to influence the education and the students' environment at the university.

Faculty of Medicine

As a student representative on the Faculty Board of Medicine, you represent all MF students in the faculty’s highest decision-making body. The Faculty Board handles, for example, budget work, operational plans, and strategic issues related to staff, administration, organization, research, and education. The position includes reading large amounts of distributed material and requires a very good understanding of all parts of the Faculty of Medicine's organization and activities. There are 6 meetings per year, each lasting 3–5 hours. Preparations include reading and summarizing distributed material for coordination meetings with the student union, attending those meetings, and continuously reporting back. The position is paid.

The Undergraduate Education Committee is the faculty’s highest decision-making body regarding educational matters and is responsible for monitoring the quality, finances, and execution of the education programs. The committee also discusses issues related to students’ work environment, the use of different pedagogical models, and course and program offerings. You should have previous experience in educational monitoring to take on this position. There are 6 meetings per semester, of which 3 are preparatory. The position is paid.

The Teacher Appointment Committee is responsible for handling hiring and promotion matters for teaching positions at the faculty. The work involves reading documents and comparing them to job postings, requirement profiles, and governing documents, as well as participating in job interviews. As the committee’s work is complex and challenging to grasp, it is beneficial to serve multiple terms as a student representative. The committee meets approximately once a month for 2–5 hours. The position is paid.

The Committee for Gender Equality and Equal Treatment works on gender equality and equal opportunity issues and is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with governing documents related to these areas. Program boards and committees PNL

PNL stands for Programnämnden Läkarprogrammet (Program Board for the Doctor of Medicine Program). These committees therefore deal with international issues, examination issues and student social affairs linked to the Doctor of Medicine Program.

PNL is responsible for the development, planning, and management of the medical program and its courses, ensuring that the education is conducted efficiently and appropriately in accordance with current regulations. As a student representative, you are expected to present the perspective of the broader student body. The committee meets three times per semester (3 hours each), and there are also preparatory meetings before each session where student representatives are expected to attend. The position is paid.


+ International Committee PNL

The International Committee discusses international opportunities for students within the program. This includes student exchanges, the internationalization of the curriculum, and on-campus opportunities such as the Certificate of International Merits (CIM). Reports from international collaborations are also reviewed. The committee meets twice per semester, about 2 hours per meeting in the afternoon. The position is paid.


+ Study Social Committee PNL

Number of positions: 2 o + 1 s

The Study Social Committee consists of four faculty members, including a chairperson and a vice-chair, and two student members. It meets twice per semester: one full-day meeting (6h) and one half-day meeting (3h). The committee has a presidium that meets before and between committee meetings, made up of the chair, the vice-chair, and one of the student members. The student members decide among themselves who will attend each presidium meeting. The presidium meets 4–5 times per semester, each meeting lasting 1–2 hours. As a student representative, you are expected to review the case materials in advance. Topics can include exemptions from prerequisites, individual study plans, credit transfers, leaves of absence, and resumption of studies. Since sensitive information is discussed, all meetings are confidential. All meetings are held during daytime hours, usually in person at BMC in Lund. The position is paid. Hourly meeting compensation is provided.

The committee discusses various matters related to examinations within the program. Topics include instructions for exam writers, how to prevent cheating, and examinations within the QPS system. It also handles current cases related to appeals or examiner changes. The committee meets twice per semester, with each session lasting around 3 hours. The position is paid.

As a student representative in the preclinical management group, you represent students in discussions concerning the preclinical portion of the medical program. The group meets to discuss all preclinical semesters and focuses on course and module improvement. It meets twice per semester, with meetings lasting around 2 hours each. The position is unpaid.

As a student representative in the clinical management group, you represent students in discussions related to the clinical part of the medical program. The group meets to discuss all clinical semesters and focuses on improvement work for the courses and their components. The group meets twice per semester, with meetings lasting about 2.5 hours each. The Syllabus Review Committee under PNL reviews syllabi submitted for approval to the program board. This involves reading draft syllabi and providing feedback on changes to course coordinators so that the syllabus has already undergone an initial review before reaching the board. As a student representative, you provide input from the student perspective to ensure the syllabus is as clear as possible for students. The committee meets around twice per semester, depending on submitted syllabi. The position is unpaid.

PNM stands for the Program Board for the Master Programs. These committees therefore deal with international issues, examination issues and student social affairs linked to the Biomedicine bachelor and master programs as well as the Master in Public Health program.

The Program Committee for Master’s Education is responsible for the master’s programs in biomedicine and public health, the bachelor’s program in biomedicine, the health sciences foundation year, and the faculty’s independent courses. The committee makes strategic decisions affecting multiple programs or major issues within specific ones. Topics include approval of new syllabi, program budgets, and quality. As a student representative, you represent students in your own program. The committee meets three times per semester, each for 3 hours. Preparatory meetings are held before each, where your attendance is expected. The position is paid.


+ PNM Committee Member (o) (Biomed Master)

PNM stands for the Program Board for master's programs. As a student representative in program committees, you are involved in quality assurance of education and course plans, you also review the financial statements for courses, programs and educations. You are the link between the program committee and your education council. The committee meets about once a month. The post is paid.

Program directors, teacher representatives, and student representatives meet to discuss individual cases such as exemptions, leaves of absence, dropouts, or credit transfers. Your task is to read drafts and give feedback to course coordinators so syllabi are well-reviewed before reaching the board. + The Huntington Center (1)

In 2017, the Huntington Center was established as a collaboration between Skåne University Hospital (SUS), Skånevård Sund, Medical Services, and Lund University. The center's research focuses on Huntington’s disease, including the disease progression, highly specialized care, and support for patients and their families. The steering group consists, in addition to a student representative, of researchers and other active staff at the center. The group meets approximately twice per semester, with each meeting lasting about 2 hours. The position is unpaid.


+ The Neuronano Center (1)
Buissness Year 25/26

The Center for Neuronano Medicine was established in 2017 as a collaboration between Region Skåne, Skåne University Hospital (SUS), and Lund University. The center aims to improve coordination of interdisciplinary basic research, clinical research, clinical activities, and industry initiatives in order to enhance scientific quality and patient benefit. The steering group consists, in addition to the student representative, of staff from both the university and SUS who are active at the center. The position is unpaid.
